March 8th is no ordinary date on the calendar; it is a celebration of a woman’s achievements, resilience, and powers. It is a time to appreciate how far we have come and acknowledge the progress women continue to make.
While we celebrate this day, allow me to also take this opportunity to set as a priority what I call wellness. Balancing multiple roles in life thus becomes an arduous chore and results in less or no time for self-care for many women.
Hence, this Women’s Day, I would like to talk about the ways to ensure a balance between fitness and wellness in a holistic approach that nourishes both mind and body.
